Despite the initial struggles with VISA, I finally was able to work with Prof. Ian Sims for 2.5 months. My first introduction to gas-phase astrochemistry happened here, where I got the opportunity to interact with some of the best minds working in this field. I am now continuing my Ph.D. in the same lab.
